(Spencer)– Two people escaped injury Friday when a vehicle crashed in a field in Clay county.
The Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Caitlynn Nestvold of Emmetsburg was driving a 2010 Chrysler Sebring southbound in the 3500 mile of 190th Avenue when the vehicle traveled onto the shoulder. Deputies say Nestvold over corrected, causing the vehicle to cross the roadway where it went into the ditch and into a field where it collided with a fence post before coming to rest.
Nestvold and a passenger walked away from the crash uninjured.
The vehicle was totaled.
The crash took place around 7:30 am.
