(Spencer)– Spencer’s Historic Preservation Commission continues working on some updates to their guidelines. Sheriffa Jones, who oversees the commission, presented an update to the city council earlier this week…
“We received a CLG grant to do the design guidelines for the Downtown Commercial Historic District and we are in the process of doing that. In fact we’re in the process of reviewing a draft from Bergland and Cram who, they are the architecture firm, interior design firm, that we hired from Mason City.”
Jones says a public input meeting on the proposed guidelines was recently held with about 35 people in attendance.
