(Spencer)– No serious injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision this (Tues.) morning at the intersection of Highway 18 and 240th Avenue in Clay county.
Authorities say 61-year-old Shelly Nelson of Dickens was driving a 2004 Dodge Ram westbound 65-year-old Leslie Bruns of Spencer was driving a 1999 Chevrolet pickup northbound when the two collided at the intersection. The impact caused Nelson’s vehicle to go into the ditch.
Nelson complained of back pain but wasn’t transported to a hospital.
Bruns was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $2,500.
