(Estherville)– The city of Estherville is reminding residents of some winter-related issues pertaining to utility meters.
They’re encouraging residents to scoop a path to meters, taking care not to strike meters or equipment.
It’s also reminding those removing snow to use caution so as not to damage utility pedestals which could cause equipment damage and/or personal injury.
City officials say any damage to electric pedestals during snow removal will be the responsibility of property owners.
