(Alton)– A Sheldon man injured in a single vehicle crash Sunday in Sioux county also faces charges in connection with it.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Brenton Delaney was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger southbound on Highway 60 about a half mile south of Alton when he lost control of the pickup. It went into the west ditch and rolled.
Delaney was taken by ambulance to the Orange City hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Upon being released from the hospital, he was booked into the Sioux county jail on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated…2nd offense, and failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
