(Spencer)– Spencer firefighters were called early this (Mon.) morning to a structure fire in that city.
Firefighters were called around 3:00 am to 1705 4th Avenue East on a report of a fully engulfed garage with several vehicles inside. The garage and its contents were destroyed. There was no word on an estimated dollar loss. Minor damage was reported to a nearby house.
An ambulance was also called to the scene as a precaution, however no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters were on the scene about two and-a-half hours.
