(Emmetsburg)– Authorities in Palo Alto county say charges may be pending in connection with a single vehicle crash earlier this week that resulted in minor injuries to the driver.
The Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called a little after 11:30 pm Tuesday after getting a report of a single vehicle rollover. They determined 43-year-old Jeffrey Joyce of Emmetsburg had been driving a 2003 Ford pickup southbound in the 3800 block of 450th Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle. Deputies say it crossed over into the opposite lane of travel and went into the east ditch, where it rolled onto its top.
Joyce sustained minor injuries in the crash. The pickup was totaled.
Palo Alto county authorities say charges are pending the outcome of an investigation.
