(Fairmont, Mn.)– Hy-Vee announced Tuesday it has administered its first doses of COVID-19 vaccine to staff and residents of the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont.
Officials say 100 residents and staff at the center were vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine.
Hy-Vee pharmacists will return to the facility after 28 days to administer the second dose.
Hy-Vee is part of a select group of retailers selected earlier this year by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to be a COVID-19 vaccine provider.
