(Lake Park)– An investigation is under way into what authorities say is an apparent homicide in Lake Park.
A press release from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says Lake Park police received a 911 call around 11:30 am Tuesday and responded to 104 Maple Avenue in Lake Park where they found a deceased female in the residence.
No other details were being released and there was no word on a possible suspect.
The release says Lake Park Police Department, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Dickinson County Attorney’s Office are involved in the active, ongoing investigation.
