(Spencer)– A single vehicle crash last week in Clay county resulted in minor injuries.
Authorities say 59-year-old Kevin Kerns of Rolfe was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound at the intersection of 230th Avenue and 485th Street when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle went into the east ditch and came to rest in a field.
Kerns sustained minor injuries and was taken to Spencer Hospital.
Minor damage was reported to the vehicle.
The crash took place shortly before 6:00 pm.
