(Depew)– A two-vehicle collision last week in Palo Alto county sent one person to the hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office says 29-year-old Pearl Cruz of Swea City was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on 530th Avenue and 74-year-old William Elbert of Whittemore was driving a 2008 Jeep Liberty. Deputies say Elbert was attempting to turn onto 530th Avenue from 310th Street when the two collided.
Cruz complained of chest pain and was taken to the Palo Alto County Hospital. No injuries were reported to Elbert, who was cited with failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right-of-way.
