Traffic Stop Results In Arrest Of Hartley Woman On Drug Charges

(Spencer)– A traffic stop last (Thurs.) evening in Clay county landed a Hartley woman in jail on drug charges.

Authorities say a deputy pulled over a vehicle shortly after 10:00 pm at the intersection of Highway 18 and 160th Avenue. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says an investigation resulted in the deputy discovering that the driver of the vehicle, Shelly Ohrt of Hartley, was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and was placed under arrest.

Ohrt was charged with possession of a controlled substance…3rd offense…methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Clay county jail.
