(Des Moines)– State Senator Zach Whiting of Spirit Lake has been named chair of the Senate Labor and Business Relations Committee for the upcoming 89th General Assembly.
Whiting will also serve as vice chair of the Administrative Rules Review Committee and as Assistant Majority Leader.
He also serves on the Government Oversight, Judiciary, State Government, and Transportation Committees as well as the Administration and Regulation Appropriations Subcommittee.
