Planned Maintenance To Result In Water Service Disruption And Boil Advisory For Some Orleans Residents

November 30, 2020

(Orleans)– Planned maintenance on the water distribution system will result in a disruption of service for some Orleans residents on Tuesday.

City officials say water will be shut off around 9:00 am Tuesday for two to four hours in the area north and east of the intersection of 253rd Avenue and 140th Street. A boil advisory will go into affect for that same area once service resumes due to the potential for bacterial contamination. Residents in the affected area should boil water before using it for cooking or drinking, or use an alternative source, until tests come back satisfactorily and the boil advisory is lifted.

Anyone with questions should call City Clerk Vrenae Daly at 336-8156.
