(Spirit Lake)– An investigation Wednesday evening by Spirit Lake police into a report of multiple gunshots being fired resulted in the arrests of two people on multiple charges.
Spirit Lake Police say officers were called to 1502 Memphis Avenue Lot 23 a little before 10:30 pm. After trying unsuccessfully to make contact with the occupants of the home, police were met at the door by 29-year-old Matthew Krogman-Meyer. Upon further investigation officers located 28-year-old Shyanne Delgado also in the residence. Both were detained.
Police then obtained and executed a search warrant on the residence as part of their investigation.
Both Krogman-Meyer and Delgado were charged with forgery, violation of a no-contact order, interference with official acts, possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance…THC wax, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana, possession of a prescription drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Highway Patrol and the Okoboji, Arnolds Park and Milford Police Departments assisted on the scene.
