(Boyden)– A single vehicle crash Friday morning on Highway 18 two miles west of Boyden injured a Sheldon woman.
Authorities say 22-year-old Fernanda Gonzalez of Sheldon was driving a 2017 Ford Fusion westbound and was attempting to pass another vehicle when she met an east bound vehicle and drove into the south ditch to avoid a collision.
Gonzalez was taken by ambulance to Sanford Sheldon Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Gonzalez was cited for unsafe passing.
