(Spencer)– Minor injuries were reported Sunday in a single vehicle crash in Clay county.
The Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old Cody Huckfelt of Spencer was driving a 2008 Dodge Ram eastbound in the 3100 mile of 430th Street. Deputies say Huckfelt was attempting to slow to turn into a driveway on the north side of the road when the vehicle slid on the ice covered road and went into the ditch where it rolled onto its top coming to rest on a barbed wire fence.
Minor injuries were reported to Huckfelt but he apparently wasn’t taken to a hospital.
Severe damage was reported to the vehicle.
