(Larchwood)– A single vehicle crash early Sunday in Lyon county injured an Estherville woman.
Authorities say 18-year-old Melissa Hall of Superior lost control of a 2003 GMC while she was traveling eastbound on an ice-covered county road near Larchwood. The vehicle spun on the road and went into the north ditch, coming to rest on its passenger side.
A passenger, 55-year-old Joanne Callaro of Estherville, was taken to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls with possible injuries.
$4,500 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The crash took place a little after 1:30 in the morning.
