(Worthington, Mn.)– Multiple injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision Thursday on Interstate 90 at Worthington.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 50-year-old Alvaro Dominguez of Worthington was driving a 2013 Nissan eastbound and had stopped for an accident. Authorities say a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer driven by 27-year-old Shehy Deleon Caan of Worthington came upon the scene and spun out, colliding with the vehicle Dominguez had been driving.
Caan was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Three passengers in her vehicle, Sandra Lopez, Elizabeth Polanco and Claudia Quintalla, all of Worthington, were taken to the Worthington hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Dominguez also sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the Worthington hospital.
Authorities say the road was snow and ice-covered at the time.
