(Arnolds Park)– As we reported previously this year’s annual meeting of the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is going to be held virtually due to COVID-19. Kiley Zankowski says a date has not yet been announced, but she says it likely will be held in early December…
“And you’ll be able to see all sorts of updates from the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber, the Spirit Lake Chamber and tourism, and in addition to that the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber is going to be giving out a few awards. So they are Large Business Of The Year, Small Business Of The Year, Social Media Super Star and Member Of The Year Award.”
She says they are now accepting nominations…
“Nominations are open now through Friday, October 30th and you can go to Okoboji Chamber-dot-com and nominate a business in any category you like, as many businesses as you’d like. Voting will be open the same way on our website at Okoboji Chamber-dot-com November 1st through November 8th. You’ll just go to our website and you can find the annual meeting under the events tab or on the homepage and the nominations are linked right through there.”
Zankowski adds the virtual annual meeting will be free.
