(Emmetsburg)– A single vehicle crash this past Friday in Palo Alto county sent one person to the hospital.
Authorities say Jane Schnieders of Rolfe lost control of a 2002 Toyota Camry after a tire blew while traveling northbound on 510th Avenue. The vehicle went into the ditch, struck an embankment and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels.
Schnieders was taken to Palo Alto County Hospital.
The vehicle was totaled.
The Sheriff’s Office says Schnieders was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt.
