Officials Now Say Water Will NOT Be Turned Off On 28th Street In Francis Sites Area As Originally Planned For Thursday; Boil Advisory Also Called Off

(Spirit Lake)– Officials with the City of Spirit Lake Water Department now say water will NOT be turned off Thursday on 28th Street in the Francis Sites area. 

They say a contractor doing work on the Francis Sites drainage project discovered a water main in that area is deeper than what was first thought and as a result will NOT have to be relocated. 

The announcement also means the boil order previously announced for that area also will NOT be going into effect.
