(Arnolds Park)– Arnolds Park Amusement Park has been honored by Amusement Today, a leading trade publication of the amusement industry, with the announcement of its annual Golden Ticket Awards September 23.
Each year the publication honors various accomplishments, and Arnold Park Amusement Park has received the Turnstile Award, which honors a park that continues to reinvest in its history and preservation of attractions.
Arnolds Park Marketing Manager Paul Plumb says it’s quite the honor…
“It’s very exciting for us to be recognized. We’ve been in this process of re-building the park, basically restoring the park, over the last few years and to be recognized by a national publication like that means a lot to us. They give that award to people who are reinvesting in their property, putting money back in and we wouldn’t have been able to do that without the public’s help, our donor’s help, you know, obviously getting us to a place where we’ve remodeled the pavilion, built a new Roof Garden, a new board walk and promenade and everything, a new parking lot, so there’s many things going on. Just to be recognized for that is really terrific.”
