(Des Moines)– The Iowa Department of Public Health says there were 1,341 new, confirmed COVID-19 cases reported from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 10 a.m. Thursday.
Officials reported nine more virus-related death within this time frame, bringing the state’s death toll to 1,299.
There are 305 total hospitalizations across Iowa due to the virus. Of those hospitalizations, 79 are in the ICU and 37 are on ventilators.
17 new cases were reported in Dickinson county from 10:00 am Wednesday to 10:00 this (Thurs.) morning, bringing the total number of cases to 503. Public health officials say 409 of those have recovered.
