Another NW Iowa County Bans Open Burning Due To Extremely Dry Conditions

(Orange City)– Another northwest Iowa county is prohibiting burning until further notice due to the extremely dry conditions.

The ban in Sioux county went into effect at 6:00 am this (Wed.) morning and continues until further notice.

The ban was put into place by the State Fire Marshall’s Office at the request of the county’s Fire Chiefs.

Similar bans are in place in Clay and Emmet counties.
