Traffic Stop On Hwy 71 South Of Milford Results In Several Arrests

(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop early Friday on Highway 71 south of Milford resulted in charges being filed against three people.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy initiated the stop shortly after 2:00 am. The driver, 28-year-old Eduardo Gomez Andrade of Estherville, was arrested for operating while intoxicated following field sobriety tests. He was also charged with driving without a license and improper lane change.

Upon further investigation, authorities say two passengers in the vehicle were also arrested on drug charges. 34-year-old Nabil Moussaddak of Estherville was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana and possession of a controlled substance…cocaine. 30-year-old Nathaniel Dirksen of Hampton was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Milford Police Department assisted on the scene.
