(Okoboji)– Authorities were called around 3:30 pm today (Wed.) to what was initially reported as a possible drowning just off the Loch Nolls area, near Parks Marina on East Lake Okoboji.
Initial reports from the scene indicated two people were plucked from the water and were taken to shore by boat. Both were said to be conscious and breathing as they were loaded into an ambulance and taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare.
The Spirit Lake Fire Department, Arnolds Park-Okoboji Underwater Search and Rescue, Lakes Area Fire Boat, Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and paramedics and Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
