(Okoboji)-The music of the Everly Brothers will be showcased at the Pearson Lakes Art Center next week, KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Pearson Lakes Art Center will present The Everly Set on September 2.
Performing Arts Director Rachelle Fratzke says, the duo delivers the authentic sound of The Everly Brothers. “All of the Everly Brothers popular hits. Both of the gentlemen that are coming are successful in their own right. Sean Altman was the founder of Rockapella, and Jack Skuller was a Disney recording artist. So, they’re very accomplished musicians, and I saw the show last year, and i have to tell you, they are the funniest two together also, so it’s a very entertaining and energetic show.”
She notes that the show will be outdoors. “Buy your tickets in advance, preferably, so that when you get there and park, you can just come right into the area where the performance is. Bring a lawn chair so you have something to sit on, and there will be a cash bar, but, most importantly, the music. We have new equipment and it just sounds great out there. So we’re looking forward to another wonderful evening.”
