(Spencer)– An investigation Sunday by Spencer police into a stolen vehicle resulted in the arrest of an Alta man on multiple charges.
Spencer police say officers responded a little before 12:30 pm to the 300 block of West 6th Street. Authorities say the suspect driver, 25-year-old Dalton Goodman of Alta, attempted to flee from officers on foot. A taser was deployed and Goodman was taken into custody with minor injuries.
Goodman was then arrested and was transported to the Clay county jail. He was charged with theft in the 2nd degree, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with official acts, driving while revoked, and was served a Clay county warrant for theft.
Goodman was being held on a $25,000 bond.
