(Sioux City)– A California woman has pled guilty in a northwest Iowa meth conspiracy case.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa says 33-year-old Marissa Weisbly of Los Osos, California, entered the plea Wednesday to a charge of conspiring to distribute methamphetamine.
At a plea hearing Weisbly admitted that on February 8th of this year law enforcement recovered four bags containing 1,215 grams of actual meth along with two digital scales, drug paraphernalia, $817 in a safe, heroin and marijuana in a vehicle occupied by Weisbly and two others at the Grand Falls Casino parking lot in Larchwood. Weisbly also admitted she and others had brought the methamphetamine to the midwest for distribution to others.
Sentencing will be scheduled upon completion of a pre-sentence report.
