(Arnolds Park)– Historic Arnolds Park, Incorporated is this year’s winner of the Okoboji Foundation’s July Nonprofit Challenge.
Officials say this year’s challenge brought in more than $134,000 in gifts to the foundation’s nonprofit partner funds. They say Historic Arnolds Park saw significant growth in donations enhanced by the Endow Iowa during the challenge, amounting to $83,333, with an additional $5,000 from the Okoboji Foundation.
Nonprofit partners created their own endowment or Endow Iowa funds within the Okoboji Foundation’s Charitable Giving Funds to build long-term support for their organization.
Although the 2020 challenge is complete, donors are still urged to contribute funds by going to GiveOkoboji.com or by mailing a check to the Okoboji Foundation at P.O. Box 593, Okoboji, Iowa…51355.
Donors and charitable giving funds partners are invited to meet the foundation’s new President, Mindy Gress, at a “Coffee and Conversation” event Tuesday, August 18th from 9:00 until 10:30 am and a wine and cheese meet and greet Thursday, August 20th from 4:30 until 6:00 pm. Both events will be held at the foundation office in Arnolds Park.
