(Sibley)– A Sibley man faces multiple charges after a vehicle he was driving collided with a sign Saturday.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 37-year-old Justin Dorris was driving a 2002 Ford Focus near the intersection of Maple Drive and 9th Avenue in Sibley when he collided with a sign belonging to Country View Manor.
Dorris was arrested and charged with operating while under the influence…1st offense, assault on persons in certain occupations and criminal mischief in the 5th degree. He was also cited for open container, failure to maintain control and failure to provide proof of financial liability accident related.
Dorris was being held in the Osceola county jail on a $1,000 bond.
Damage to the vehicle he was driving was estimated at $4,000 while the sign sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage.
