(Spencer)– The Spencer Messiah Board announced today (Tues.) this year’s “Festival of Lessons and Carols” is being postponed to next year.
The event was scheduled to be held December 6th. Instead, it will take place on December 5th, 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns.
Organizers say due to the pandemic, they felt postponing the event was in the best interest and safety of their singers and audience.
The board presents “A Festival of Lessons and Carols” during the years between the presentation of Handel’s Messiah. The next presentation of the “Messiah” will be in 2022.
