(Rock Rapids)– A traffic stop this past Friday in Lyon county resulted in the arrest of a Worthington woman.
Authorities say a deputy pulled over a vehicle for a registration violation. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of 29-year-old Nicolette Anderson of Worthington after it was discovered she was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine.
Anderson was also charged with providing false identification information, driving without a license, failure to provide proof of financial responsibility and failure to display registration plates. Upon being booked into jail it was discovered Anderson was also wanted on a warrant from Cottonwood county for driving offenses. She was charged with fugitive from justice and was awaiting extradition proceedings.
