Lutheran Lakeside Camp Receives $7,500 Grant For Trails Project

(Spirit Lake)– Lutheran Lakeside Camp has been awarded a $7,500 grant from the Okoboji Foundation’s Youth In Philanthropy program. 

Brittney Swanson, the camp’s Executive Director, says the funding will allow them to improve 3.5 miles of trails and more than 40 acres of wilderness.

Swanson says the trails will be available for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, walking and for environmental education for the public.
