(Emmetsburg)– A Mississippi man wanted on warrants for sexual abuse was taken into custody over the weekend in Palo Alto county.
Authorities say 27-year-old Earnest Charles Jones, Jr. of Magnolia, Mississippi was arrested on two warrants charging him with two counts of sexual abuse in the 3rd degree.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says the warrants stem from an investigation they launched back in January of this year. Other details weren’t released.
Jones was arrested around 10:20 pm Saturday in the 3600 block of 350th Avenue. He was booked into the Palo Alto county jail on a $25,000 bond per warrant.
The Emmetsburg Police Department assisted in making the arrest.
