“We’re looking at reducing capacities to adhere to social distancing rules. We’ll have a number of things in place such as hand sanitizers, there will be limited seating around the pools. We need to ensure that people are at proper distances. Some of the other pieces that will be pointed out as you come in, there will be an opportunity for people going in the pool to utilize the concession stand and things of that nature that are at the Bouncelandia area, and it will really turn into a fun filled space there in north Milford.”

He says the pool area will be limited to 40 individuals in the water at one time and that visitors will be limited to 90 minutes at a time. He says breaks will be called at the 50 minute mark every hour to allow for 10 minutes of additional cleaning. And Fisher says there’s something else visitors will need to keep in mind…Boji Bay Pools Opening02

“Children seven and under if they’re coming to the pool, they need to have a guardian with them in the water at all times with them as well as if a family is coming in and a child coming in between the ages of 8 and 12 they do need to have an adult or guardian with them as well, just during this time that we’re all in we just want to make sure that we provide as safe environment as possible. So there will be opportunities for people to stay cool during this hot summer, have a lot of fun in a unique setting.”

Day passes will be available at the site for $5 per person with children under one year of age admitted free.
