(Okoboji)-Some rising stars from Nashville will perform at the Pearson Lakes Art Center next week, KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Pearson Lakes Art Center will present Farewell Angelina on Tuesday, July 14.
Performing Arts Director Rachelle Fratzke says the group puts on a dazzling show:. “It’s four female vocalists, they’re also all four songwriters, accomplished in multiple instruments. Heart-stopping harmonies, blazing violins and guitars, I’mean it’s just going to be one of those shows that you’re going to go home smiling, it’s going to be so good. You know, they were named ‘The New Artist that you need to Know’ by Rolling Stone. That’s a pretty high accomplishment.”
She adds that the concert will be held in the Outdoor Amphitheatre. “We are going outside. We do care about our customers and we want them to feel safe. So, if you have a mask, please wear it. We advise it, we don’t require it. Also, bring your own lawn chair if you want to be comfortable. We have a huge green space in the back of our Art Center and that’s where it’s going to be, so we’re excited about that. We’ll have a couple of bars open and it’s just gonna be a hoot. I tell you, a concert out there on a nice summer night is beautiful.”
She notes that its advised to purchase tickets in advance.
