(Lakefield, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision Sunday on Highway 86 at the eastbound on ramp of Interstate 90 injured a Lakefield woman.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 61-year-old Lynn Hecker of New Richland, Minnesota was driving a 2018 Mazda southbound on Highway 86 and 83-year-old Martha Ulbricht of Lakefield was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox also southbound. Troopers say the vehicle driven by Ulbricht collided with the rear of the one driven by Hecker.
Ulbricht was taken by ambulance to Sanford Jackson Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. No injuries were reported to Hecker.
The collision took place just after 1:00 pm.
The Lakefield Fire Department and ambulance crew assisted on the scene.
