(Spencer)– A Spencer man wanted on a warrant for a probation violation was taken into custody Thursday during a traffic stop.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle on Grand Avenue just north of 4th Southeast in Spencer. Upon investigating it was learned the driver, 55-year-old Todd Barrett, was wanted on the warrant. He was arrested and booked into jail on a $10,000 bond.
Barrett was also cited for failure to yield, no insurance and a registration violation. Bond on those was set at $573.
