(Spencer)– An alleged road rage incident this past Friday in Clay county resulted in the arrest of a Milford woman.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 4:45 pm when they received a report from a person who was northbound from Spencer on Highway 71 stating that a woman had displayed a firearm to him during the incident.
A suspect wanted in connection with the incident was located a short time later in Milford. The suspect and reporting party were interviewed by Milford Police and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect, identified as 46-year-old Alace Welle of Milford, was then arrested and charged with assault while displaying a weapon and harassment in the 3rd degree.
