Emmet Co. Sheriff’s Office Receives $5,000 Grant From ILEC “Operation Round Up” Program

(Estherville)– The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded a $5,000 grant through Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative’s “Operation Round Up” program. 

A news release says the money will go toward the purchase and training of a new K-9 and for the training of a handler. The project has a total cost of $14,500, which does not include additional equipment needed to support the K-9 program.
