(Spencer)– A Spirit Lake man sustained minor injuries early this (Wed.) morning in a single crash in Clay county.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says Robert Peters of Spirit Lake was driving a 2011 Silverado eastbound on 350th Street when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle went off the south side of the road and collided with a railroad crossing arm assembly.
A news release says Peters sustained minor injuries but doesn’t mention if he sought immediate treatment.
The vehicle he was driving was totaled.
The crash took place shortly before 3:00 am.
