(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake City Council Tuesday evening directed City Attorney/Administrator Gregg Owens to move forward with the drafting of an ordinance pertaining to the licensing of food trucks operating in the city. The council will review a draft ordinance at their first meeting in June.
The Spirit Lake City Council also set September 14th through the 17th as the dates for this year’s city wide clean up days, which is much later than usual. Typically the event is held in early May. But Owens says COVID-19 forced the change this year. He added it would be difficult to have the clean up now as city crews are busy with mowing and other projects.
