Minnesota COVID-19 Cases Approaches 21,000 With 18 Additional Deaths As Of Today (Tues.)

(St. Paul, Mn.)– The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota neared 21,000 with 652 new positive cases reported this morning. Jackson County remains at 39, Cottonwood County held at 65, Martin County is up 1 to 126 and Nobles County increased 9 to 1,478.

18 new deaths reported this morning bringing the state’s total to 899, of which 732 are among residents in long-term care or assisted living facilities.

Over 5,700 tests were reported, bringing the state’s total to almost 210,000 tests completed. 570 Minnesotans are hospitalized from COVID-19, that’s down 35 from yesterday. Total in ICU increased 10 at 258.
