(Spencer)– A Spencer man was arrested on multiple charges Saturday following an incident at the Days Inn motel in Spencer.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the 1800 mile of 350th Street to serve a no contact order on Ismael Leon Rodriguez, who was not allowed at the residence. Rodriguez was taken to the Days Inn in Spencer where he allegedly assaulted the clerk and a deputy. Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Clay county jail where some marijuana and drug paraphernalia was found in his belongings.
Rodriguez was charged with assault, assault on persons in certain occupation, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
