Minor Injuries Reported In Pickup Vs. Deer Collision

(Spencer)– Minor injuries were reported late Monday night when a pickup collided with a deer in the 4600 mile of Highway 71 in Clay county.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Kyle Hatch of Sioux Rapids was driving a 2014 Ford F-150 southbound when the incident took place. 

Hatch sustained minor injuries but declined immediate treatment. 

Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $8,000.
