(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake High School music and theater department has received honors through the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards, presented by EMC Insurance Companies, for its November production of “Beauty And The Beast”.
The recognitions include best scene for “Be Our Guest”; Special Recognition for Performance in a Principal Role: Jessie Longest as “Cogsworth”; and Special Recognition for Performance in a Principal Role: Elizabeth Anne Stucker as “Mrs. Potts”.
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards Showcase that was scheduled for June 1st, 2020 at the Des Moines Civic Center has been cancelled.
