Polaris Industries Reports Decrease In Overall Sales In First Quarter Of 2020

April 29, 2020

(Minneapolis, Mn.)– Polaris Industries announced Tuesday a six percent decrease in sales, or a decline of slightly more than $1.4 million, for the first quarter of 2020. The company reported a net loss of nine cents per share with adjusted net income for the period of 22 cents per share.

It also reported North American retail sales for the first quarter decreased in the high-single digits compared to last year. Retail sales for Indian motorcycles, however, saw a slight increase compared to a year ago.

A news release says Polaris Industries has restarted production at some manufacturing facilities based on orders already received and future demand and parts availability. Most operations at the Spirit Lake facility have either been limited or suspended again this week.
