Iowa’s Ride, Which Had Two Stops Scheduled For NW Iowa, Is Being Canceled For This Summer

April 28, 2020

(Des Moines)– Another big bike ride that was to go through a portion of northwest Iowa this summer has been canceled due to COVID-19. Organizers of Iowa’s Ride announced Monday the event is being canceled.

This would have been the inaugural year for the ride, which was scheduled to start July 12 in eastern Iowa. The seven day ride included stops in Emmetsburg and Sheldon.

Refund requests for the ride should be sent to fun@iowasride.com by May 15th.

The cancellation of Iowa’s Ride comes on the heels of last week’s announced postponement of RAGBRAI to 2021.
